Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how QuinPick collects, uses, and protects information when you use our friends-and-family score-predictor.

QuinPick is not a payment company. We do not process card or bank transfers and we do not store full payment credentials.

Account data: email address and authentication identifiers managed through Supabase Auth.

Profile data you provide: display name, locale, timezone, and league memberships.

Gameplay data: picks, scores, leaderboard entries, and timestamps related to match locks.

Payment-related uploads: images or metadata you choose to submit as buy-in proof, plus payment display details (such as QR codes or handles) that commissioners upload for their league.

Technical data: cookies required for sign-in and locale preferences, server logs, and standard device/browser information used for security and reliability.

We use information to operate the Service: authenticate users, store picks, calculate scores, show league standings to active members, let organizers review payment proofs, and send transactional emails such as sign-up confirmation or password reset.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

When commissioners add Zelle, PayPal, Apple Cash, or similar details, QuinPick stores and displays that information so league members can pay each other directly. Those payments occur outside QuinPick through third-party providers subject to their own privacy policies.

Payment proof images are visible to league commissioners and authorized super-admins for verification. QuinPick does not guarantee the accuracy or legitimacy of uploaded proofs.

We share data with service providers that help us run the app—for example Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend or similar email delivery, and API-Football or schedule providers for match data—only as needed to provide the Service.

Within a league, active members may see leaderboard standings and, where enabled, other participants' picks after lock. Inactive members have restricted visibility as described in the app.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.

We retain account and league data while your account is active and as needed to operate the Service, comply with law, or resolve disputes. Row-level security and access controls limit who can read sensitive league data.

No online service is perfectly secure. Use a strong password and contact your organizer if you suspect unauthorized access.

You can update your display name, locale, and timezone from Profile. You may request account deletion or correction by contacting the operator; some league records may need to be retained in anonymized form for scoring integrity.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will honor applicable requests to the extent we can verify your identity and legal obligations allow.

QuinPick uses essential cookies for authentication sessions and to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising cookies.

QuinPick is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Leagues involving money require adult eligibility as stated in our Terms.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected in the app or repository documentation.

Privacy questions may be directed to the QuinPick operator through the contact method published with your league invitation or on the project repository listed for the app.
